Riccardo Silva participated in a panel discussion at the Sportel Summit Miami alongside NBC’s Premier League Analyst Kyle Martino and CONCACAF General Secretary Philippe Moggio. The subject of the panel was: ”Is the US Soccer Market a Healthy One?”

Riccardo Silva shared his views on why promotion and relegation should be a feature of soccer in the US.

In 2016 Riccardo Silva’s company, Silva International Investment, commissioned a report by Deloitte, on promotion and relegation in US soccer. The report, published in November 2016, found that promotion and relegation could assist US club soccer in capitalising on the undoubted interest in, and potential for, the sport in the USA.
